Nash & Smile – Journal Gbaye (CIV)

The first episode of the Journal Gbayé is online. An offshot of the rapped news journal from Senegal: ‘Journal Rappé’ finally found its way to Abidjan. Gunman Xuman who introduced this format in Senegal had the opportunity to bring it in form of a workshop to Côte d’Ivoire where it found a second home now. Being the presenter of a HipHop radio show in Dakar for years Xuman had the idea to change the role with the news presenter a few years back. Since then after premiering on TV the format has established a huge fanbase online on its Youtube Channel with more than 15.000 followers.
