Slap Dee – Waumfwa (Zambia)

Waumfwa - Slap Dee (Zambia)

„One Zambia, one nation.” – Waumfwa! – Slap Dee comes up with the 2015 street anthem of Lusaka. In the song ‘Waumfwa‘ a reporter asks him: What is special about the Zambian capital? Slap Dee explains, that it is just as any south-eastern african city. You have people sitting outside on the streets eating ugali, working or playing soccer while electricity might not constantly being contributed. His verses in Bemba change in a call and response with the catchphrase #Waumfwa, meaning „Did you get it?!“
